긍정의 한줄 - day 27 [James boswell]

 

We cannot tell the precise moment when friendship is formed.

As in filling a vessel drop by drop, there is at last a drop

which makes it run over.

So in a series of kindnesses there is, at last,

one which makes the heart run over.

우정이 맺어지게 된 정확한 순간을 우리는 말할 수 없다.

마치 한 방울씩 물방울이 모여 큰 물동이를 채울 때처럼,

넘쳐흐르게 하는 최후의 마지막 한 방울이 있다.

친절도 계속 베풀다 보면 그 중 하나가 마침내

마음을 넘쳐흐르게 만든다.
